Anyone have any words of wisdom or advise on using an indoor litter type potty for their dog? I see on ebay you can buy the type that you put newspaper in.......

I am wondering what kind of success you all have had with them if you have tried them or use them.

I am discovering that I am starting this training at the worst time of year for where I live (Maine). The weather is turning cold, rainy, snow soon, and none of us are having much fun standing outside in the rain and cold waiting for Lilly to go potty. And she stands there like she is freezing, doing nothing to hurry things along.

I am wondering if I could do a combination type training........she would go outside if I took her there, or just use the potty tray if I don't. I am not sure how to make her understand that she needs to go on the tray thing......but figure there must be a way to do that.

Any thoughts?
