 How picky are you?
With who you place your babies with? I know it will vary from breeder to breeder as it varies from rescue to rescue, but i'd just like a general idea.
I am not currently looking for a yorkie, but would love one sometime after I graduate in May and get moved and settled in a new house and start working. I plan to look at rescues and shelters first, but I was just curious how tough the application process would be if I did go to a breeder.
What are some of your qualifications for new owners? For example, I own a pit bull, would this hinder me from being able to buy a pup from some breeders? I also plan to have kids one day (Hopefully!), so are breeders picky about placing their pups with people who dont' have kids but may have kids in the future.
If I go to a breeder I would like to go to one who shows and titles their dogs and purchase a pet quality female pup since I don't ever plan to show or breed. How much should I be expecting to spend? |
