I clip nails at between 6-8 weeks old. Look at the underneath of the nail, It is whiter and most times open before the cuticle. Cut in the white area, above the pink! ( if in doubt just cut at the very curve of the little nail of the baby) It takes a bit of practice holding the paw, but it isnt hard, with practice.
You can buy small dog
clippers from your local pet supply store.
