Our house is 103 yrs. old. The windows get quite drafty in the winter. So we also buy the window kits from walmart. I'm sure that Lowe's sells them as well. You just clean around the window with alcohol (included in the kit) Then you apply double stick tape. Stick the plastic to it and trim it. Then you use your blow dryer to shrink the plastic so that it is tight. It is very clear too. Most of the time you never know it's there.
