To get Conner used to getting his teeth brushed, I used the gloves with bristles on one finger and thumb (you put the paste on the fingers with the bristles). Once he got used to that, we graduated to a toothbrush.
I use a harness for Conner and a breakaway collar for his tags. If he ever gets caught on anything, I know he will be safe with this collar.
