I would go around your house and puppy proof it the best you can. Put plastic tubes around any wires so she can't chew them, spray bitter apple spray on chair legs and other wooden items she may chew on regulary, and put anything up that she's not allowed to chew on/play with. Crates are great while you're away but if you think you're having to crate her a lot while you are home too, I would also get an X-pen. That way you can give her some more room while you're home but aren't able to supervise her.
