I am just flusterated and need to vent.


I am currently still living with my ex boyfriend. I am trying to get back to work after surgeries so I can save to move. He has been making it VERY stressful for me. I mean threatening to kick me out after I just got home from one of the surgeries.

Well his 8 yr old daughter is here for the weekend. He lets her be a zombie in front of the tv or computer all day and that annoys me how it is. He basically uses it as an electronic babysitter. He feels if he can't spend money for something like bowling or whatever that there is nothing he can do with her. I wake up this morning to her on the couch watching tv yelling at Aurora. Aurora is trying to get her attention to play with her. His daughter is sitting there yelling at her that she is bad. She is a puppy trying to play, she is not bad. She can go upstairs and watch tv and at least there she plays too, not just veg out in front of it like she does down stairs. My ex doesn't suggest that she goes up stairs so that Aurora can't bug her....he wants to put Aurora in her crate. He said his daughter shouldn't be "mauled" by my dog. Aurora was not mauling her, she was not play biting or anything. She would bring toys to his daughter and then when she was ignore, she would try to sit on her lap. She was stuck closed into the computer room with me and I felt horrible. Aurora would get on the other chair so she was eye level and just pout and whine. Then she will go to the door and whine. She just wants to be out and play.

Now ex is furious with me and says he will never have his daughter again while me and my dog are here.

Am I wrong to be upset that Aurora is being yelled at for trying to play and keeps being told she is bad??
