Its called chemical castration and is something that is often done to showdogs as they cannot be neutered. As far as i'm aware there are no known long term side effects. However, don't rely on it to solve your problems, the only thing that han do that is love, patience and appropriate positive training. Where are you? Here in the UK vets will neuter dogs at 6 months, but not before.
