I'm in exactly the same position, Chip will do anything for a treat but if I attempt to do it without one he just stares at me. About the roll over, I put Chip in a down and wave my hand with a treat in it over his head, so his head follows and then his body. He doesn't do a complete roll, just enough for a tummy rub
