Wellness and Cal Naturals "allergy" versions are both a bit low in protein, so you may want to add some protein back in - but you'd ONLY want to add (at first, at least) the same protein that is in the food.

The Orijen is a fabulous grainless food - a higher protein dog food overall. High protein, despite what you may read, is GREAT for dogs unless there is a health issue w/ the liver, pancreas or something. Orijen doesn't make an "allergy" food, but, if you suspect meat may be part of the allergy (which is not uncommon), you could try their 6-Fish kibble.

What is you dog experiencing right now and what is he eating?
