Glad he's doing better. Sounds like he may have been hungry. Sometimes the other's will continuously push one aside that doesn't fight as much or isn't as strong. So he'll get a small meal (if any) and will cry really soon as a sign of hunger. And boy will they cry. But when they have a full tummy, they have such a nice sleep.

FYI..If his tummy's really tight and he's pooped and eaten, mylicon drops (the ones for baby gas) work well for gas in puppies also. Gas can make them quite miserable also. Glad he's feeling much better.
