I am so very sorry for your loss. I think your blog is very touching.
While out for a walk the other day, a big black lab came charging up to us. It scared us all to death. She was just being friendly, but she could have seriously injured Gizmo. We had Gizmo on a leash, but the lab was unrestrained. Luckily the owners ran over to help out.
I can't even imagine what you went through. I am so very sorry.
