I did that for the first time tonight. I used dog clippers, that you squeeze together like plyers, and the blade comes to gether like scissors to snip the nails. I made sure to only cut the tip, I mean, i BARELY took anything off, just the point, and it made a HUGE difference. I would say the less you clip the better, and I like what I used because it was very easy to see how much I was snipping.
