I agree. I think they should help in any way they can and give you all or at least part of your adoption fee back. I hope they weren't aware of Kiwi's problems before you adopted her as that would be awful that they didn't at least forewarn you. I hope things improve for you both - it must be really hard to watch and feel so hopeless as there is nothing you can do to help.
