I know that you can give male dogs a female hormone that is suppose to reduce aggression and anxiety but it is in a pill form and most vets do not use it anymore due to the risks. Even then, it is only used as a last resort. I would never give it to a puppy. I have never heard of a shot. |
I don't see any vet recommending a hormone shot over neutering...
