I would definately inform the owner. They should welcome your unhappy comments rather than lose you as a customer and be sure to do a better job next time. If they dont then go else where. When on the phone with the owner ask who has the most experience with Yorkies and then request her next time.
Ollies first grooming was a shock for us also!!!! He went in with his black puppy coat and came out shaved and grey!!! He looked like a schnauzzer.
