So Susanah and I loaded up and headed to Alabama today to my grandmother's house. It's about an hour and half drive from here. Traffic was HORRIBLE. They had parts of the interstate closed and it was just a headache and a half.
The exciting part is that my Ga-Ga (that's what I call my grandmother) bought Susanah 2 dresses and a sweater. One of the dresses just happens to be the green with pink trim and crowns on it from wal-mart that I have been searching high and low for one in her size! The other one is brown with blue trim and hearts on it and inside the hearts are little doggies. The sweater is red with a heart on it.
S'anah was such a good girl. Ya'll should have heard my Ga-Ga fussing over her. I got worried at one point because Susanah went in the bathroom and pooped on the floor. OMGosh! I wish I'd had a video camera. Ga-Ga said, "Will you just look at that? Look how smart that baby is! She knew to come in the bathroom to go potty! What a good girl! You want a cookie, darlin'?
THEN we had to drag her all over town. It's one of those small town with all the little shops around a central square. I think we hit every one of them. "Look what I got. This is my newest great-grandbaby! Isn't she a little doll? Her name is Scarlet Susanah Belle, isn't that just the cutest?" And it went on and on and on and on and on and on....
Susanah and I are both worn out! I'm glad Ga-Ga thinks so much of her though. It really made me feel good to see her treating her the same way I would.
