Hi and welcome to YT!

First my advice is to not baby her when she acts like this around the fireworks. your just letting her know that its ok to be scared and bark and cower. WHen she acts up, tell her its ok, and then go back to whatever you were doing and ignore her.

You can ask your vet for a sedative. Its not going to kill her. They'll probably prescribe acepromazine which is a common sedative.
