HI! yes I have dealt with coccidia and sounds like you have gotten some great advice! Thanks for the pm by the way

Diggy had it when i got him....it shows up in fecal exams. Digy was treats with Albon drops which came in a pre measured small syringe for easy administration. The bad thing about coccidia is it does not always float in a fecal exam, give a a false negative test result. I took Diggys stool samples in once a week for 3 weeks after he finished his medications. I got lucky and it really was gone. You do not normally have to make an appt. with your vet for a fecal exam. I just dropped off the stool sample and paid 19 dollars and they called me with the results. There is a wealth of info on this site about coccidia as it is a pretty common in pups. on the right hand part of you screen towards the top there is a search button....type coccidia in the box and all threads about coccidia will show up.
