 Biting hindquarters
My puppy started scratching and biting his hind quarters untill he had almost pulled all the fur off his butt! I thought he might have fleas (I live in Florida and fleas and other bugs are a fact of life here) but after a flea treatment he was still scratching and biting. The vet did tests and said he had scabies. Scabies are skin mites and people can get them too! The vet gave him a shot and he got relief within 24 hours. I also bathed him with special (and stinky) shampoo for a few weeks.
