Any dog would prefer the canned stuff over the dry, but the canned gets stuck in between their teeth, and since they don't floss, it just sits there, and this is why they end up having bad teeht..They will eat when they get hungry enough..I leave dry food out all day until around 5:00, then it goes up for the night...
