What does this mean. Now remember we don't know a lot about Cozmo he is a rescue only had him 2 weeks. He has been rolling on his back all the time but tonight is the first with the food.

Oh, boy, be thankful he just rolled in food! One of my Bichons, Lacy, will roll in any nasty thing she can find. She has rolled in cat poop (the smooshy kind) in our yard several times and it's very nasty. I watch her, but she will do it before I realize what's happening. She rolled in cat poop three times in one week last summer and I couldn't turn her loose in the house, had to take her in and stand her in the tub while the water ran. What a mess! She starts on one side of her head and rolls over in it, smearing it all over her head and down one side and down her back all the way to her tail. Ohmygosh, you never smelled anything so disgusting. My other Bichon, Cosmo, doesn't roll in cat poop, but he rolls on the carpet or couch a lot, just being frisky and having fun. It's instinct that makes them try to disguise their smell so predators won't find them. It works to keep people from wanting to find them, too!
