Oh I forgot to mention that yorkies can have different types of coats. The correct coat is a very silky, human-hair like coat. Many yorkies also have a thick, cottony coat (very pretty but matts easily). Some yorkies will end up having coarser hair or sometimes even a wirey coat too. The ones with a wirey coat won't grow coat very well so it always will be pretty short
