I make them the way my grandmother did.
I boil the chicken, take it out and cut it up. Then I take flour, baking powder, 4 eggs, salt and pepper and broth from the chicken and mix together. I make a soft dough and knead it. Then I roll it out, let it set a few minutes and cut in strips. Add chicken and the dumplins in the broth and cook until they are done. I don't measure anything just throw it together. |
