I'm getting Madeleine spayed in 3 weeks. When I went in to make her appointment I asked if she needed to come in prior to the actual date of her getting spayed for a "pre-op" type visit and they said no.
I've seen other YT members talk about getting blood work prior to getting spayed or neutured but my vet doesn't do any of that
Should I be looking for a different vet? I just worry that something might come up that they weren't prepared for because they didn't check things out first.
Am I over-reacting? Is my vet normal??
