you mentioned your baby gets scared. let me tell you my story of one breeding. My vet said my girl weighed 4.2 and was fine to breed. We were very doubtful and finally decided we might try it since Ceeby and all his ancestors are aa lot smaller and so was hers. Both parents came from the "dreaded" tiny breeders. SOOOO to make a long story short, she was bred two days straight. before breeding, she was the most playful, full of personality, sweet loving one I have. Immediately after breeding her whole personality changed. She was afraid of Ceeby, she hunkered in corners, had to be coaxed to give kisses and get belly rubs. never played anymore, stopped eating for the whole pregnancy. I had to hand feed her andd still she wouldn't hardly eat. I was very concerned and worried. mentally kicked my butt and the vets every time I looked at her. When it was whelping time, before she even had contractions, this buldge appeared next to her vulva. In 15 minutes time it went from nickel size to quarter size. Not out her vulva but next to it. i picked her up and raced to the vet 10 minutes away. It was fist size by the time I got there. He weighed her and with two big babies, she only weighed 5.2 lbs. he rushed her straight in to surgery for a c-section. her uterus had been on the verge of ruptering. I nearly lost one of the pups. They worked and worked on it. When I picked her up, I drove home with the little gal in my bosom and breathing into her little mouth each time she gapped. I raced into the house and swung her a few times and suctioned her some more and after about an hour she started breathing well on her on. When I took my bitch back to get her stitches out, she only weighed 3.6 i hated myself and my vet at that time. It took months for her to get back to herself pre-breeding but she finally did and thru it all she was a good mother. Please, please don't breed this tiny girl. I will never, ever breed another one under five pounds.
