Personally, I wouldnt put him in the bed yet. I don't think you'll roll over on him, something intuitive in yourself *KNOWS* hes there (even in your sleep) and you won't... but also if you do, he'll move... Ive never hurt mine in my sleep. They didn't join me on the bed for a couple reasons when they were that young. a) they couldn't hold *IT* all night so they would pee in the bed YUCK!! and b) my bed is high too, and I feared them jumping down and breaking their leg or something and me not hearing them!

I felt much more safer when they both reached about 4lbs to allow them on the bed! They were about 5 months old when I allowed them to sleep with me!
