I used to try to brush mine everyday, but it is sooo hard. I work a lot, and my retired husband is home with them most of the time. I used to try and keep their hair longer, but if you don't brush them a lot, then forget about it. So, now I keep their hair short, just their face hairs are long. I also now groom them myself, because for two dogs, it is too expensive. Most places I know charge around $40 each. So I got some good clippers and experimented on them, poor things. lol
But they like it better when I do it anyway, because they don't like to be left anywhere. It's pretty easy to cut, especially if you have it done professionally first, and then before it grows out too much, start cutting it. They stay really still for me...they are good little girls and I talk nicely to them while I am doing it, so they like it. Good luck!
