I messed up and i don't know how to delete it. Anyways, my idea is...
We got red plastic ornaments and put their hand prints in white paint with their palms on the bottom of the balls. Then when they dried we made snowmen out of the fingers with sharpie. We put buttons, eyes ,noses, hats or scarves. Then we put their names and date on the backs. I could send you some picks.
