I can see how people can sometimes be confused though. The yorkie is a combination of a lot of different terrier so some of the characteristics pop up from time to time, such as slightly bigger or smaller, different color, or like mine a longer snout.
I'm as quilty as any other ignorant i met a couple with a yorkie and i was sure it was a minature scnozer (no idea how to spell that). it was completely grey, short haired (puppy cut i'm sure) and large (at least 15 pounds) and had a long topline. i couldn't believe it when they told me it was a yorkie, but i'm not the kinda person to fight about it and i figured they knew it was there dog.
