My big boy was 4 lbs at 8 weeks. I personally think he was a little smaller than that, but that's what the vet said. he's now 9 weeks and i can tell he's grown a little. his dad was 5 lbs and his mom was 11 lbs (but they looked about the same size to me), the dad definitely did not look 6 lbs smaller than the mom. I wanted a 5 or 6 lb pup also, but i think it's better that he's bigger. he's my first yorkie and i haven't had to worry much about him getting hurt or eating enough. he's a pretty tough little guy. However, i'm thinking about getting a little girl now.
