 ughhhhhh try an 8 month old!
ughhh I just sigh because Georgia is soooooo stubborn...
Maybe it is just my theory but I feel like helping her sit does not help the training. I just try to be patient and keep saying sit. When she finally does.....lol....I give her a treat. Right now I realized that chicken works best...the next best are little liver cookie things...I forget the name...I tried to put them a little over her head so she would sit but she does not do that. I also heard that it takes about 20 times before dogs understand....so we are only on about day 4 of it. Due to my traveling for work and just getting her acclimated to her new home.
Anyway, I am glad I am not alone trying to do this...it's so tough! I was beginning to give up till I read this! |
