If you could find a way to have him travel with you in your truck and stay in the office out of the cold in the winter, would your parents let you keep him with you? How close are your parents to him? I don't know what you do for a living, but is it a possibility? Or maybe it would be too hard on him. I just rememered that he is getting old. Just thinking out loud.
