Is it an adult canine tooth or a little baby canine tooth that never fell out? If it's a baby tooth finally falling out, it's no big deal. But if it's an adult tooth it is a big deal. You said it was brown - sounds like your dog needs a serious teeth cleaning ASAP. Do you brush your dog's teeth? My Lacy is on a raw diet and I brush her teeth once a week and she hardly has any tarter on her teeth. Can you imagine what your teeth would be like if you never brushed them? Dog's dental health is essential for them to live a long, healthy life. Bad teeth lead to pain in the mouth which affects their entire body. Dogs are living longer now because owners are taking care of their dogs' teeth. I'd call the vet and schedule a dental ASAP before the teeth get even worse.
