ok, at 12 weeks he's probably not going to be able to make it thru the night so if he does wake up in the middle of the night then he probably does have to go. but if its an hour or two after you put him to bed then i'd ignore it. good luck. i know its tough but if you give him tough love now, you'll be happy about it later. a few weeks, maybe even just a few days, and he'll stop doing it.
