I JUST searched old posts for advice from yorkie owners who work. Fortunately, I will be home for 2.5 weeks after I get my puppy in December. But after that it's back to work. I was a little nervous about owning such a small dog and working 6-7 hours a day.

After reading several posts I feel a lot more comfortable about the whole thing. I think I will set up a fenced off area in my kitchen with a pee-pad, food/water and his crate.

You're lucky that you work close enough to go home for a little visit during the day!
