Breeding any dog because 'alot of people like and want them' does not mean it is a good idea to go ahead with the idea. What other people want shouldn't be a factor at all, for that matter. There are also more factors to consider than just if it is physically safe for your male. You breed to produce health, quality representations of the parents, not to meet a supply and demand market as per the internet. You have to consider what attributes your dog, coupled with the mate, would be contributing to the offspring. It's hard enough to try to get the hang of genetics and matching up male and female with one breed, much less when you are throwing 2 into the mix. Like someone already said, there are enough mutts in shelters that need good homes, don't contribute to the problem even further by purposely creating more.
