he was 13 and had cancer....they removed it 3 yrs ago and it came back with a vengence....he was in no pain but the tumors looked sooo bad....it finally busted open and i cleaned and gave antibiotics and he was just as cheery as he always had been and then gang green set in and i couldn't let it get any worse and took him this morning....and he was still acting normal...no signs of pain or anything.....i thought it would be easier if i new he was in pain and needed to be done....but i didn't want to wait for that point.....it was the hardest thing i have ever had to do...i tried to leave the vets office and i went back in....and held him for a while...i couldn't leave him...but i knew i did the best thing for him and i will miss him soooo much....he was my first yorkie...and i have 7 now.thank you everyone for all your kind words...i though i could only cry so much......no i still am.
