Animals who breed in the wild is a natural thing..to keep the species alive and well...in domestic animals like the dog, there is no need. Dogs do not lay around thinking about what they are missing or not missing...they eat for today, they do not worry if there is food for tomorrow...same with having a litter...spay her and she will never miss it...and if she does have a litter, once they are gone, she will not spend much time caring..dogs do not reminisce about the good old days. We over estimate the joy of our pets experiencing the joys of motherhood. |
