Unfortunately this is usually the way they do it, sometimes you aren't suppossed to even wait outside the room. They say dogs act up more when their Mommys are there. I do Sawyer myself, that way if there is a mistake, I won't go to jail for hitting someone. If you have trouble with the nails, the vet will trim them, and it is only 5 or 10 dollars, and the same goes for the anal glands. Otherwise, talk to people in your area that really like their groomer, and try them. Good luck
