I had to do that one time, i'm crying with you. My first dog we put down after 16 1/2 years. I got him on my first day of second grade...and we put him down 2 months after I graduated college. I couldn't see it then, but afterwards I realized it truly was the best, I have never cried so hard in my life but that was a testimony to the joy and love he brought me, and I know that he'll always be my angel. The problem is, we just don't know their pain. I will be praying for you and your family and your baby that all goes well!
