I've been told to wait for 6 weeks or longer after going into heat too.
I acutally bought baby diapers for human babies - I got the preemie size since my girls are just over 3 pounds. I cut a hole for poopies & the tail. If they went wee-wee.... well, its a diaper.
Worked like a charm! - Oh! put it on backwards, with the tape on the back so she can't tear it off. You might go through 2 or 3 diapers to see where to cut the hole.
