Rae Rae, did you go? Sorry I didn't see your question until now. We got there at 10 til 7 and the voting was at 7. We just sat on stools until our turn for pictures and then after all the pics were done we all paraded around the store and the judges (about 11 employees) watched us go by and voted. They announced the winners right away and then most people left. They had treats in dishes for the doggies and a bowl of candy for the people. They used to serve cola and bottled water but this year they didn't.
Almost forgot... 1st prize this year was a $20 gift card, 2nd was $10 gift card and 3rd was $5 gift card. |
Yeah we went, they had soo much fun! First we got their pictures, then we all paraded around the store for the judging...and my fiance got picked to be a judge!!! He voted for Rocky and Bella, but the guy called him out and said "those are your dogs!" But they did get a lot of compliments, everyone loved them! Also, for the voting everyone cheered for who won first, second, and third, and Rocky started barking, I thought it was cute because he was cheering for them too! Can't wait to go to it next year! My babies are so exhausted, they both came home and passed out!
I forgot to add..all the pets who entered got a 5lb bag of treats! So even though we didn't win in the contest, we got 10lbs of treats now!
