I'd call your vet and see what they suggest. Some vets feel comfortable spaying while in heat and some would rather wait. When a dog is in heat, there are a lot of blood vessels that enlarge that supply the Uterus...so it takes longer to do the spay because you have to tie off more blood vessels. It's just a messier, longer surgery when they are in heat. If you feel like you'll be able to keep her away from male dogs 100%, I'd wait out the heat cycle and have her spayed right after.
