It is all toooooo close, hopefully we will be getting word soon that things are improved. The wind almost knocked me over earlier and it is still just as strong.
Anyone that is able to get sandwiches and nourishment to the fire men near you, please do so if you can, we hear many are working non stop and on 24 hour shifts and then some.
When we had the fire here near us couple years ago, we made sandwiches and took fruits and bottled water and left it for them to get when they could. They really appreciated it.

Thanks..thats a good idea. -We have had the AC going..which has helped a little. and i was thinking about doing something like that for the firemen.. Tim has a really good friend whos whole family are fire fighters.. and his friend Ryan told him its crazy-'its just burning everywhere'(from every direction). he said they have been bringing in alot of firefighters from nevada, arizona, etc, because even all the reserves are being put to use!! ..and then on top of that the local stations still need people at them(he said..smaller fires have broken out.. and gotten bigger than they should have, because of the lack of people able to attend them at the local stations.)..shortage of firemen, because of how many and how big these fires are!!
Hopefully it all ends soon.. such a mess-those poor people who have lost their homes/loved ones!! still PRAYING!!
Tim came home from work yesterday(i had mentioned he works right by the irvine(santiago fires).. and his clothes SMELLED like SMOKE so so bad!! he was in his office or car the whole time.. and was only outside to get from his car into work, etc. There was even ashes on his pants when he got home, i picked them up to wash them.. and they would shake off!! yuck.
He did say today though.. that the smell and ashes weren't quite as bad as yesterday..(due to the wind factor..and also because it has once again switched directions and began to head back towards the orange area!)
