I prefer Satin paint, and semi-gloss if you have a small room like a hallway bathroom. You can allways purchase a paint sample , which I think is a quart. This way you can actually test it out on your wall and see if it looks good or not. For your daughters room, if she wants to go very graphic do a light pink, or bright red. Its her room, why not let her pick out the color? An option for your bedroom is if you want to use the bright robins egg blue, only use it on one wall. Make that your focus wall where you would anchor your bed, and the rest of the walls a neutral color. Too much of that blue can be somewhat glaring after a while. As for your kitchen...What color are your kitchen cabinets? Do you have an existing backsplash? Also what about your appliances? |
