I was wondering the same thing! Great thread & links here...

I carved 2 pumpkins last week, it was so relaxing to sit out with the pups and go at it. They looked great too... then they ROTTED! I just trashed them a couple hours ago, they were soooo gross.

Does anyone know a trick to keeping them longer? Like lime juice to keep cut fruit from browning? I thought about rubbing lime juice in another if I carved again.
