we are simply going by what you have told us. We honestly know nothing more to judge any other way. You may have these feelings because you know more but from what you have told us we told you our opinions. I was raised with many manners, no smacking, no elbows on the table, no singing at the table, no talking while your mouth is full, yes mam, no sir, thank you , your welcome, but i was never told it was rude to ask someone how much they make. But i do know my limits lol i would just straight up ask anyone how much money they make.
but i dont thinks its a something rude unless someone is trying to degrade you like they make way more money then you do and they are being mean by asking how much you make.
