I guess I would agree with this, they are his parents and I think if my son were all grown up and I helped put him thru college (don't know if they have, just saying), and then when he was talking about his new job, and I was asking the normal questions and he said oh, that's private. I think I would be offended and hurt. I can understand that they seem to like to gossip. Believe me. My sister in law (my husband's brothers wife) is still good friends with my husbands 1st wife. They divorced 24 years ago but she still blabs our personal business to her and so we've learned not to tell my husband's brother anything we don't want repeated. But I think it was something my husband had to learn on his own and mostly as we've gotten older, we don't really have that much that we hide or would be embarrassed others knowing. Thank goodness!
