We didn't like giving much Tylenol to our boys either, but sometimes it is worth it. The dose goes more by weight, than by age. So call your pediatrician and tell them how much he weighs and they can give you the correct dosage. We also used the Teething Tablets and they seemed to work somewhat. I think the combination of the two was the best for us. Good luck!
